Dirt2 finds out which fonts belong to where and what font was used in the Lady Gaga Logo everybody knows and loves. Before reading on: Most of these fonts are not available as free fonts so you’ll have to purchase them at sites like MyFonts, FontShop, FontBros etc.

Lady Gaga Logo #2 Font

I’m fairly certain this font doesn’t exist, Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve looked all over the web and other people have asked about it and everyone suggests similar fonts but nobody knows if it exists. My theory is it’s a custom/edited font made from two weights of Avant Garde, they align perfectly and the letters all match. The “A” is slightly skewed and the Y is a lowercase y with some added lines and things to give it that Jazzy 1930s vibe.

Lady Gaga “Paparazzi” Fonts

I found that there are two images for Lady Gaga’s single “Paparazzi”, one is more geared towards the video while the original is more for the song itself (camera lens), the font for this is edited too much in Photoshop to get an exact match.

This is a collection of fonts used in Merchandise, Clothing and Ads for Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier.
The first thing you need to realize is, is that for all of the original Ed Hardy designs and tattoos he used his own handwriting and calligraphy. The designs were originally for a tattoo design book called “Tattootime”. In 2002 he was approached by a company who wanted to turn the designs into fashion,

In 2004 Christian Audigier also approached the company and bought license permission to reproduce the designs in his high-end clothing clothing line (Christian Audigier was formerly known as the owner of Von Dutch). While many of the fonts still use handwritten text, modified fonts and other forms of “non-redistributable” text you can buy elaborate fonts from LetterHeadFonts and if you own a clothing company or need some custom text design work you should visit Hydro 74 whose clients include Quicksilver, Maxim Magazine, Mattel and much more.. And no neither of these are referrals.

As far as I know the only person to date (July 2009) that has made any attempts to recreate and release the vintage tattoo calligraphy of Ed Hardy has been myself with my font “Dead Hardy”.

Ed Hardy “By Christian Audigier” Font

As of early 2008 I noticed that the Ed Hardy designs and DonEdHardy.com began incorporating the name of the business man who licensed the designs. A little while later he came out with his own clothing line, a smart way to get his name known on an already increasingly popular clothing company. Here is a collection of fonts used on Albums, Singles and Covers by pop artist Katy Perry. Most of these fonts are free but a selective couple are commercial fonts and have to be purchased in order to be downloaded. This is my first “famous fonts collection” so I hope it’s useful, questions or comments are welcome.

Katy Perry’s Logo Font – Katy Berry

The logo for Katy Perry is actually a custom logo made by an unknown graphic designer who most likely works for the record lable. I personally have recreated and put together a similar font and while it’s not perfect it is the only known version of the font to exist, The font is free to use and available for commercial use in my shop. Note that updates are made somewhat frequently, Since I have first released it there has at least been one major update.

This font was used in the text for the singers first album “One of the Boys”, Note that some of the letters are modified in the album but the original font is still “Black Rose”.

Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” Font – Gill Sans Ultra Bold

This bold font was seen on the singer’s single cover for “I Kissed a Girl” with the retro colors and polka dot pattern. Also I have to add whoever did this for the cover must of been a beginner at illustrator, even worse than myself because they left lines instead of having a seamless pattern inside of the text (you can see there’s multiple dark lines where the pattern repeats).
