This font was just designed with what I liked most at that time. I wanted something sort of punk, trendy and dirty. The end product came out pretty neat and the font has a lot of potential.
At the time that I made it – it had taken me about 5 hours to create and fontify, I was so impatient and thought 5 hours was such a long time to just make a font. If you make fonts you know 5 hours is pretty much a really, really low amount of time to put into a typeface. I’ve read professionals take weeks and months to develop complete fonts.
The font name was something I randomly popped out of my head, I wanted it to be basic and sort of spooky so what better than your everyday common ghost name?
I’m glad to say the font has inspired some design company names and band names and the phrase itself is used for someone who looks spooky so that was unexpected and I thank you.
Subconsciously this font may have been named similar to Broken Ghost by Gyom Séguin but was unintentional, he was a great inspiration when I started making fonts and some of his fonts and names have leaked into my brain.
*Thanks to WebDesignBooth.com for naming this font one of 60 awesome grunge fonts that every designer should collect!
