 | Step 1) Get or Create the image you want to be turned into a simple brush, Make any size/contrast/sharpness adjustments before moving onto step 2. |
 | Step 2) Using the lasso, or polygon lasso or even the square or circle crop tool, Select your graphic. |
 | Step 3) Now go to Edit > Define Brush Preset (cs3) or Define Brush (ps7) |
 | Step 4) After you've turned it into a brush it should appear in your brushes menu, Click your brush icon to view it. |
 | Step 5) After you've tested your brush and are happy with your results, You can create as many brushes as you want, You should save them. Just click the little arrow after you're in the brush thumbnail menu (highlighted in the image). Click "Save Brushes..." choose your file name, and you're good to know. When uploading to a site try to zip them to save bandwidth, data and space (not required). |
