Elkwood is a free san-serif font with that old vibe. My biggest inspiration for this kind of font is pretty much along the same lines as everyone else – fascination with retro and vintage culture. The fifties was a powerful time for marketing, typography and many industries and will always be an inspiration for generations to come. I am going to be using this font for other themed typefaces (besides just Snowinter) so keep your eyes open for that.
